Delete a Grayscale Release Job
This section describes how to delete a grayscale release job.
| Warning |
|---|
A grayscale release job can only be deleted when one of the new or old versions has taken over all business traffic. After the grayscale release job is deleted, the version (service, workload, and pods) that has not taken over the business traffic will also be deleted. |
Prerequisites
-
You need to join a project and have the Service Mesh Management permission in the project. For more information, see Project Members and Project Roles.
-
The KubeSphere Service Mesh extension must be installed and enabled on the KubeSphere platform.
-
One of the new or old versions has taken over all business traffic. For more information, see Switch Online Version (Blue-Green Deployment) and Adjust Traffic Distribution Ratio (Canary Release).
Steps
-
Log in to the KubeSphere web console with a user who has Service Mesh Management permissions and enter your workspace.
-
Click Grayscale Release > Grayscale Release in the left navigation pane.
-
On the Canary Release page, click Release Job, and then click the name of a canary release job to open its details page.
-
On the details page of the grayscale release job, click Delete in the upper right corner.
The system will delete the grayscale release job and also delete the version that has not taken over the business traffic.
