This section describes how to view the cluster role list.

Prerequisites

You need to join a cluster and have the Role View permission in the cluster. For more information, see Cluster Members and Cluster Roles.

Steps

  1. Log in to the KubeSphere web console with a user who has Role View permissions and enter your cluster.

  2. Click Cluster Settings > Cluster Roles in the left navigation pane.

    The KubeSphere platform provides the following built-in cluster roles:

    Role Description

    cluster-admin

    Cluster administrator, has all permissions within the cluster except for creating and deleting the cluster.

    cluster-viewer

    Cluster viewer, has view permissions for all resources within the cluster.
