This section describes how to delete a constraint template.

Warning

Constraint templates cannot be recovered after deletion. Please perform this operation with caution.

Prerequisites

  • You need to join a cluster and have the cluster-admin permission in the cluster. For more information, see Cluster Members and Cluster Roles.

  • The Gatekeeper extension must be installed and enabled on the KubeSphere platform.

Steps

  1. Log in to the KubeSphere web console with a user who has cluster-admin permissions and enter your cluster.

  2. Click Gatekeeper > Constraint Templates in the left navigation pane.

  3. Click more on the right side of the constraint template you want to delete, then select Delete from the drop-down list.

  4. In the Delete Constraint Template dialog box, enter the name of the constraint template, then click OK.
