This section describes how to copy a microservice configuration.

You can use an existing microservice configuration to create a new one with a different name but identical data.

Prerequisites

  • The KubeSphere Spring Cloud extension must be installed and enabled on the KubeSphere platform.

  • You need to join a project and have the Spring Cloud Microservice Management permission in the project. For more information, see Project Members and Project Roles.

Steps

  1. Log in to the KubeSphere web console with a user who has Spring Cloud Microservice Management permissions and enter your workspace.

  2. Click  Spring Cloud > Microservice Configuration in the left navigation pane.

  3. Select a project from the drop-down list in the upper left corner of the page.

  4. On the right side of the microservice configuration you want to operate, click more, then select Copy from the dropdown list.

  5. In the Copy Microservice Configuration dialog box, set the name for the new microservice configuration, then click OK.

    Note

If needed, you can also modify the configuration data.

After the copy is complete, the newly created microservice configuration will appear in the list.
