This section describes how to view volume snapshot class details.

Prerequisites

  • The KubeSphere Storage extension must be installed and enabled on the KubeSphere platform.

  • You need to join a cluster and have the Volume Snapshot Class View permission in the cluster. For more information, see Cluster Members and Cluster Roles.

Steps

  1. Log in to the KubeSphere web console with a user who has Volume Snapshot Class View permissions and enter your cluster.

  2. Click Storage > Volume Snapshot Classes in the left navigation pane.

  3. In the volume snapshot class list, click the name of a volume snapshot class to open its details page.

  4. On the volume snapshot class details page, view the resource attributes of the volume snapshot class in the Attributes area.

    Parameter Description

    Provisioner

    The storage plugin corresponding to the volume snapshot class.

    Deletion Policy

    The policy applied to the volume snapshot content when the volume snapshot is deleted. The deletion policy is set in the corresponding volume snapshot class.

    • Delete: After the volume snapshot is deleted, the system automatically deletes the volume snapshot content.

    • Retain: After the volume snapshot is deleted, the system does not automatically delete the volume snapshot content.

    Creation Time

    The creation time of the volume snapshot class.

  5. On the volume snapshot class details page, view the volume snapshots created using this volume snapshot class in the Volume Snapshots area.

    Parameter Description

    Name

    The name of the volume snapshot.

    Status

    The current status of a volume snapshot.

    • Ready: The volume snapshot and the corresponding volume snapshot content have been created successfully.

    • Not Ready: The volume snapshot and the corresponding volume snapshot content are being created, creation has failed, or the volume snapshot is being deleted.

    Capacity

    The capacity of a volume snapshot corresponds to the capacity of the persistent volume.

    Creation Time

    The creation time of the volume snapshot.
