This section describes how to delete a domain name to stop its reuse validation when creating or editing an Ingress.

Prerequisites

  • The KubeSphere Ingress Utilss extension must be installed and enabled on the KubeSphere platform.

  • You need to join a cluster and have the cluster-admin permission in the cluster. For more information, see Cluster Members and Cluster Roles.

Steps

  1. Log in to the KubeSphere web console with a user who has cluster-admin permissions and enter your cluster.

  2. Click Application Workloads > Application Routing Tools in the left navigation pane.

  3. Click more on the right side of the domain name you want to delete, then select Delete from the dropdown list.

  4. In the Delete Domain Name dialog box, enter the name of the domain name, then click OK.

Batch Delete Domain Names

  1. Log in to the KubeSphere web console as a user with the cluster-admin role and enter your cluster.

  2. Click Application Workloads > Application Routing Tools in the left navigation pane.

  3. Select the checkbox to the left of the domain name(s) you want to delete, then click Delete above the domain name list.

  4. In the Batch Delete Domain Names dialog box, enter the name(s) of the domain name(s), then click OK.

    Use commas (,) and spaces to separate multiple names.
