This section describes how to view pod IP pool details.

Prerequisites

  • You need to join a cluster and have the Cluster Network Resource View permission in the cluster. For more information, see Cluster Members and Cluster Roles.

  • The KubeSphere Network extension must be installed and enabled on the KubeSphere platform.

Steps

  1. Log in to the KubeSphere web console with a user who has Cluster Network Resource View permissions and enter your cluster.

  2. Click Network > Pod IP Pools in the left navigation pane.

  3. In the pod IP pool list, click the name of a pod IP pool to open its details page.

  4. On the pod IP pool details page, view the basic information of the pod IP pool in the Properties area.

    Parameter Description

    Status

    The status of the pod IP pool.

    CIDR

    The CIDR block contained in the pod IP pool.

    Used IP Addresses

    The number of IP addresses in use.

    IP Pool Block Size

    The CIDR size of the block used by the IP pool for IP allocation.

    NAT Outgoing

    Whether cross-pool communication via NAT is allowed.

    Overlay Mode

    The communication mode between pods. Supports IPIP mode and VXLAN mode.

    Mask

    The subnet mask bits for the CIDR block corresponding to the pod IP pool.

    Network

    The IP address of the network corresponding to the pod IP pool.

    Start IP Address/End IP Address

    The IP address range contained in the pod IP pool.

    Creation Time

    The creation time of the pod IP pool.

    Creator

    The user who created the pod IP pool.

  5. On the Projects tab of the pod IP pool details page, view the project names that can use the pod IP pool, the number of IP addresses used, and the project administrators.

  6. On the Pods tab on the right side of the pod IP pool details page, view all pods using the pod IP pool.

    • Click chevron-down to view information about the containers running in the pod.

    • Click the name of a pod to view its details.

    • Enter keywords in the search box above the pod list to search for pods by name.

    • Click refresh in the upper right corner of the pod list to refresh the list information.
