This section describes how to reset built-in rule groups.

Note

KubeSphere only supports resetting built-in rule groups and does not support resetting custom rule groups.

Warning

Rule groups cannot be recovered after being reset. Please perform this operation with caution.

Prerequisites

You need to have the platform-admin role in the KubeSphere platform. For more information, please refer to Users and Platform Roles.

Steps

  1. Log in to the KubeSphere web console with a user who has the platform-admin role.

  2. In the upper right corner of the page, click the grid icon and select WizTelemetry Observability Platform.

  3. Click Global Alerting > Built-in Rule Groups in the left navigation pane.

  4. Click more on the right side of the rule group you want to reset, and then select Reset from the dropdown list.

  5. In the Reset Rule Group dialog box, click OK.
