This section introduces how to use the "WizTelemetry Monitoring" extension.

WizTelemetry Monitoring is an extension within the WizTelemetry Observability Platform that provides monitoring capabilities. It offers multi-tenant, cloud-native resource monitoring, including real-time and historical data display of core monitoring metrics for objects such as multi-clusters, nodes, workloads, GPUs, and the K8s control plane.

Note

WizTelemetry Monitoring no longer includes the Whizard Observability Center. The WizTelemetry Global Monitoring extension will encompass the functionalities of the original Whizard Observability Center.

This section only covers monitoring features in a single-cluster environment. For alerting features in a single cluster, please refer to WizTelemetry Alerting. For monitoring and alerting features in multi-cluster environments, please refer to WizTelemetry Global Monitoring.

After installing the "WizTelemetry Monitoring" extension, the Monitoring & Alerting option will appear in the left navigation pane for both clusters and workspaces. Services under application workloads in clusters and workspaces will support Edit Monitoring Exporter. The following pages will also display relevant monitoring metric data:
