This section describes how to add a project to other clusters. After adding, the current project will be automatically created in the corresponding cluster.

Prerequisites

  • The Application Management for Cluster Federation extension must be installed and enabled on the KubeSphere platform.

  • You need to join a federated project and have the Federated Project Management permission in the corresponding workspace.

Steps

  1. Log in to the KubeSphere web console as a user with Federated Project Management permissions and enter your federated project.

  2. Click Project Settings > Basic Information in the left navigation pane.

  3. On the Basic Information page, click Manage, then select Add Cluster from the dropdown list.

  4. In the dialog box that appears, select the cluster(s) you want to add the current project to from the dropdown list, then click OK. After the cluster is added, the current project will be automatically created in the corresponding cluster.

    • Click Add Cluster to add the current project to one or more clusters.

    • Click trash-light to delete the cluster currently pending addition.
