This section describes how to delete a Secret.

Warning

A Secret cannot be recovered after deletion. Please perform this operation with caution.

Prerequisites

  • The Application Management for Cluster Federation extension must be installed and enabled on the KubeSphere platform.

  • You need to join a federated project and have the Federated Project Management permission in the corresponding workspace.

Delete a Single Secret

  1. Log in to the KubeSphere web console as a user with Federated Project Management permissions and enter your federated project.

  2. Click Configuration > Secrets in the left navigation pane.

  3. On the right side of the Secret you want to delete, click more, and then select Delete from the drop-down list.

  4. In the Delete Secret dialog box, enter the name of the Secret, and then click OK.

Delete Secrets in Batches

  1. Log in to the KubeSphere web console as a user with Federated Project Management permissions and enter your federated project.

  2. Click Configuration > Secrets in the left navigation pane.

  3. Select the checkboxes on the left of the Secrets you want to delete, then click Delete above the Secret list.

  4. In the Batch Delete Secret dialog box, enter the name of the Secret, then click OK.

    Use commas (,) and spaces to separate multiple names.
