This section describes how to delete a workload.

Warning

This operation will delete the workload and all pods managed by it. The business running in the workload will be interrupted. Please perform this operation with caution.

Prerequisites

  • The Application Management for Cluster Federation extension must be installed and enabled on the KubeSphere platform.

  • You need to join a federated project and have the Federated Project Management permission in the corresponding workspace.

Delete a Single Workload

  1. Log in to the KubeSphere web console as a user with Federated Project Management permissions and enter your federated project.

  2. Click Application Workloads > Workloads in the left navigation pane.

  3. On the Workloads page, click Deployments or StatefulSets to open the workload list.

  4. On the right side of the workload you want to delete, click more, then select Delete from the dropdown list.

  5. In the Delete Workload dialog box, select the related resources to be deleted simultaneously, and then click OK.

Delete Workloads in Batches

  1. Log in to the KubeSphere web console as a user with Federated Project Management permissions and enter your federated project.

  2. Click Application Workloads > Workloads in the left navigation pane.

  3. On the Workloads page, click Deployments or StatefulSets to open the workload list.

  4. Select the checkbox on the left of the workload you want to delete, then click Delete above the workload list.

  5. In the Batch Delete Workload dialog box, confirm and select the related resources to be deleted, then click OK.
