This section describes how to delete a project.

Warning

Once a project is deleted, it cannot be recovered, and all resources within the project will also be deleted. Please perform this operation with caution.

Prerequisites

  • The Application Management for Cluster Federation extension must be installed and enabled on the KubeSphere platform.

  • You need to join a workspace and have the Federated Project Management permission in the workspace. For more information, see Workspace Members and Workspace Roles.

Delete a Single Project

  1. Log in to the KubeSphere web console with a user who has Federated Project Management permissions and enter your workspace.

  2. Click Federated Project in the left navigation pane.

  3. On the right side of the project you want to delete, click more, then select Delete from the dropdown list.

  4. In the Delete Project dialog box, enter the name of the project, then click OK.

Delete Multiple Projects in Batch

  1. Log in to the KubeSphere web console with a user who has Federated Project Management permissions and enter your workspace.

  2. Click Federated Project in the left navigation pane.

  3. Select the checkboxes on the left of the projects you want to delete, then click Delete above the project list.

  4. In the Batch Delete Projects dialog box, enter the names of the projects, then click OK.

    Use commas (,) and spaces to separate multiple names.
