This section describes how to deploy applications from the App Store on the App Store Management page.

Prerequisites

  • You need to have the App Store Management permission on the KubeSphere platform. For more information, see Users and Platform Roles.

  • The KubeSphere App Store Management extension must be installed and enabled on the KubeSphere platform.

Steps

  1. Log in to the KubeSphere web console as a user with App Store Management permissions.

  2. In the upper right corner of the page, click the grid icon and select App Store Management.

  3. Click Deployment Management in the left navigation pane.

  4. Click Create on the page.

  5. In the Create Application dialog box, click From App Store.

  6. In the App Store, click the application template you want to use, and then click Deploy in the upper right corner.

    Note

    If the Deployment Notice dialog box pops up, please read the relevant content carefully and then click Agree.

  7. In the pop-up Location dialog box, select the installation location for the application, and then click OK.

  8. On the Basic Information tab, set the basic information of the application, then click Next.

    Parameter Description

    Name

    The user-defined name of the application. The name can only contain lowercase letters, numbers, and hyphens (-), must start with a lowercase letter and end with a lowercase letter or number, with a maximum length of 32 characters.

    Version

    The version of the application.

    Description

    The description of the application. The description can contain any characters, with a maximum length of 256 characters.

    Location

    The workspace, cluster, and project to which the application belongs.

  9. On the Application Settings tab, set the functional parameters of the application as needed, then click Install.

    Note

    Applications in the App Store are published by workspace members with relevant permissions or provided by third parties. For more information about application feature parameters, please contact the application provider.

    After the application is created, it will appear in the application list.
