Edit App Template
This section describes how to edit the information of an app template in the App Store.
Prerequisites

You need to have the App Store Management permission on the KubeSphere platform. For more information, see Users and Platform Roles.

The KubeSphere App Store Management extension must be installed and enabled on the KubeSphere platform.
Steps

Log in to the KubeSphere web console as a user with App Store Management permissions.

In the upper right corner of the page, click the
icon and select App Store Management. -
Click Apps in the left navigation pane.

On the right side of the app template you want to edit, click
, and then select Edit from the drop-down list. -
In the Edit Information dialog box, set the parameters for the app template, and then click OK.
Parameter Description Alias
The alias of the app.
Description
The description of the app. The description can contain any characters and has a maximum length of 120 characters.
Icon
The icon of the app. If no icon is set for the app template, the system will use the first character of the app name in uppercase as the default icon. The icon format must be .png or .jpg, and cannot exceed 96 x 96 pixels and 20 KB.
App Category
The functional category of the app. After the app template is uploaded to the App Store, it will be automatically classified under the category selected here.
Vendor Website
The website address of the vendor. Users who install the app from the App Store can contact the vendor for technical support.
App Screenshots
Introduction images for the app. Up to 6 screenshots can be uploaded, and each screenshot cannot exceed 2 MB.
App Introduction
Introduction information for the app. Supports markdown-formatted text and image introductions.
