This section describes how to upload an application version after creating an application template.

Prerequisites

  • You need to join a workspace and have the Application/Application Version/Application Instance Management permission in the workspace. For more information, see Workspace Members and Workspace Roles.

  • The KubeSphere App Store Management extension must be installed and enabled on the KubeSphere platform.

  • A Helm Chart archive in .tar.gz or .tgz format must be prepared. For more information, please refer to the Helm official documentation.

Steps

  1. Log in to the KubeSphere web console with a user who has Application/Application Version/Application Instance Management permissions and enter your workspace.

  2. Click Application Management > Application Templates in the left navigation pane.

  3. In the application template list, click the name of an application template to open its details page.

  4. On the Versions tab of the application template details page, click Upload Version.

  5. In the dialog box that appears, click Upload Helm Chart, select the locally stored Helm Chart archive in .tar.gz or .tgz format, and then click OK.

    After the new application version is uploaded, it will be displayed on the Versions tab of the application template details page.
