This section describes how to edit application template information.

Prerequisites

  • You need to join a workspace and have the Application/Application Version/Application Instance Management permission in the workspace. For more information, see Workspace Members and Workspace Roles.

  • The KubeSphere App Store Management extension must be installed and enabled on the KubeSphere platform.

Steps

  1. Log in to the KubeSphere web console with a user who has Application/Application Version/Application Instance Management permissions and enter your workspace.

  2. Click Application Management > Application Templates in the left navigation pane.

  3. In the application template list, click the name of an application template to open its details page.

  4. On the application template details page, click Operation > Edit.

  5. In the Edit Information dialog box, set the parameters for the application template, then click OK.

    Parameter Description

    Alias

    The alias of the application.

    Description

    The description of the application. The description can contain any characters and has a maximum length of 120 characters.

    Icon

    The icon of the application. If no icon is set for the application template, the system will use the first character of the application name in uppercase as the default icon. The icon format must be .png or .jpg, and cannot exceed 96 x 96 pixels and 20 KB.

    Application Category

    The functional category of the application. After the application template is uploaded to the App Store, it will be automatically classified under the category selected here.

    Vendor Website

    The website address of the vendor. Users who install the application from the App Store can contact the vendor for technical support.

    Application Screenshots

    Introduction images for the application. A maximum of 6 screenshots are supported. Each screenshot cannot exceed 2 MB.

    Introduction information for the application. Supports markdown-formatted text and image introductions.
