This section describes how to edit image builder information.

You can edit the alias and description of an image builder. KubeSphere does not support editing the name of an image builder.

Prerequisites

You need to join a project and have the Application Workload Management permission in the project. For more information, see Project Members and Project Roles.

Steps

  1. Log in to the KubeSphere web console with a user who has Application Workload Management permissions and enter your workspace.

  2. Click Image Builder in the left navigation pane.

  3. Select a project from the drop-down list in the upper left corner of the page.

  4. On the right side of the target image builder, click more, and then select Edit Information from the dropdown list.

  5. In the Edit Information dialog box, set the alias and description for the image builder, and then click OK.

    Parameter Description

    Alias

    The alias of the image builder. Different image builders can have the same alias.

    Description

    The description of the image builder. The description can contain any characters, with a maximum of 256 characters.
