Invite Users to a Project
This section describes how to invite users to a project.
Prerequisites

You need to join a DevOps project and have the Project Member Management permission in the project. For more information, see "DevOps Project Members" and "DevOps Project Roles".

The user to be invited must first join the workspace to which the project belongs.
Steps

Log in to the KubeSphere web console with a user who has Project Member Management permissions and enter your workspace.

Click DevOps > DevOps Project Management in the left navigation pane.

Click DevOps Project Members to open the project member list.

Select a project from the drop-down list in the upper left corner of the page.

Click Invite on the right side of the page.

In the Invite Member dialog box, click
on the right side of the user you want to invite, select the user’s role in the project from the drop-down list, and then click OK.
KubeSphere provides the following preset project roles:
Role Description admin
Project administrator, has all permissions within the project.
operator
Project operator, has all permissions within the project except for project settings management, role management, and member management.
viewer
Project viewer, has resource viewing permissions within the project.
The invited user will appear in the project member list.
