This section describes how to edit project information.

You can edit the alias and description of a project. KubeSphere does not support editing the name of a created DevOps project.

Prerequisites

  • You need to join a workspace and have the  DevOps Project Management permission in the workspace. For more information, see Workspace Members and Workspace Roles.

  • The DevOps extension must be installed and enabled on the KubeSphere platform.

Steps

  1. Log in to the KubeSphere web console with a user who has  DevOps Project Management permissions and enter your workspace.

  2. Click  DevOps > DevOps Project Management in the left navigation pane.

  3. On the right side of the DevOps project you want to operate, click more, then select Edit Information from the dropdown list.

  4. In the Edit Information dialog box, set the alias and description for the DevOps project, then click OK.

    Alias

    The alias of the DevOps project.

    Description

    The description of the DevOps project. The description can contain any characters and can be up to 256 characters long.
