This section describes how to delete a Secret.

Warning

A Secret cannot be recovered after deletion. Please perform this operation with caution.

Prerequisites

You need to join a project and have the Secret Management permission in the project. For more information, see Project Members and Project Roles.

Delete a Single Secret

  1. Log in to the KubeSphere web console with a user who has Secret Management permissions and enter your workspace.

  2. Click Configuration > Secret in the left navigation pane.

  3. Select a project from the drop-down list in the upper left corner of the page.

  4. On the right side of the Secret you want to delete, click more, and then select Delete from the drop-down list.

  5. In the Delete Secret dialog box, enter the name of the Secret, and then click OK.

Delete Secrets in Batches

  1. Log in to the KubeSphere web console with a user who has Secret Management permissions and enter your workspace.

  2. Click Configuration > Secret in the left navigation pane.

  3. Select a project from the drop-down list in the upper left corner of the page.

  4. Select the checkboxes on the left of the Secrets you want to delete, then click Delete above the Secret list.

  5. In the Batch Delete Secret dialog box, enter the name of the Secret, then click OK.

    Use commas (,) and spaces to separate multiple names.
