This section describes how to edit Ingress information.

You can edit the alias and description of an Ingress. KubeSphere does not support editing the name of a created Ingress.

Prerequisites

You need to join a project and have the Application Workload Management permission in the project. For more information, see Project Members and Project Roles.

Steps

  1. Log in to the KubeSphere web console with a user who has Application Workload Management permissions and enter your workspace.

  2. Click Application Workloads > Application Routing in the left navigation pane.

  3. Select a project from the drop-down list in the upper left corner of the page.

  4. On the right side of the Ingress you want to operate, click more, then select Edit Info from the dropdown list.

  5. In the Edit Info dialog box, set the alias and description for the Ingress, then click OK.

    Parameter Description

    Alias

    The alias for the Ingress. Different Ingresses can have the same alias.

    Description

    The description for the Ingress. The description can contain any characters and is limited to 256 characters.
