This section describes how to delete a service account.

Warning

After a service account is deleted, applications using the service account will not be able to access the KubeSphere cluster. Please perform this operation with caution.

Prerequisites

You need to join a project and have the Service Account Management permission in the project. For more information, see Project Members and Project Roles. :relfileprefix: ./

Delete a Single Service Account

  1. Log in to the KubeSphere web console with a user who has Service Account Management permissions and enter your workspace.

  2. Click Project Management > Service Accounts in the left navigation pane.

  3. Select a project from the drop-down list in the upper left corner of the page.

  4. On the right side of the service account you want to delete, click more, and then select Delete from the drop-down list.

  5. In the Delete Service Account dialog box, enter the name of the service account, and then click OK.

Delete Service Accounts in Batches

  1. Log in to the KubeSphere web console with a user who has Service Account Management permissions and enter your workspace.

  2. Click Project Management > Service Accounts in the left navigation pane.

  3. Select a project from the drop-down list in the upper left corner of the page.

  4. Select the checkbox on the left of the service account you want to delete, then click Delete above the service account list.

  5. In the Batch Delete Service Accounts dialog box, enter the name of the service account, then click OK.

    Use commas (,) and spaces to separate multiple names.
