Invite Users to a Project
This section describes how to invite users to a project.
Prerequisites

You need to join a project and have the Member Management permission in the project. For more information, see Project Members and Project Roles.

The user to be invited must first join the workspace to which the project belongs.
Steps

Log in to the KubeSphere web console with a user who has Member Management permissions and enter your workspace.

Click Project Management > Project Members in the left navigation pane.

Select a project from the drop-down list in the upper left corner of the page.

Click Invite on the right side of the page.

In the Invite Member dialog box, click
on the right side of the user you want to invite, select the user’s role in the project from the drop-down list, and then click OK.
KubeSphere provides the following preset project roles:
Role Description admin
Project administrator, has all permissions within the project.
operator
Project operator, has all permissions within the project except for project settings management, role management, and member management.
viewer
Project viewer, has resource viewing permissions within the project.
The invited user will appear in the project member list.
