This section describes how to delete a project role.

You can delete project roles created by users. Built-in project roles cannot be deleted.

Prerequisites

  • You need to join a project and have the Role Management permission in the project. For more information, see Project Members and Project Roles.

  • If the project role you want to delete has already been assigned to project members, you need to remove those project members or modify their roles.

Steps

  1. Log in to the KubeSphere web console with a user who has Role Management permissions and enter your workspace.

  2. Click Project Management > Project Role in the left navigation pane.

  3. Select a project from the drop-down list in the upper left corner of the page.

  4. To the right of the project role you want to operate on, click more, then select Delete from the dropdown list.

  5. In the Delete Role dialog box, click OK.
