This section describes how to delete a workspace.

Warning

A deleted workspace cannot be recovered. If you choose to also delete the projects within the workspace, all projects and all resources within them will also be deleted. Please perform this operation with caution.

Prerequisites

You need to join a workspace and have the Workspace Settings Management permission in the workspace. For more information, see Workspace Members and Workspace Roles.

Steps

  1. Log in to the KubeSphere web console with a user who has Workspace Settings Management permissions and enter your workspace.

  2. Click Workspace Settings > Basic Information in the left navigation pane.

  3. In the upper right corner of the Workspace Information area, select Manage > Delete Workspace.

  4. In the Delete Workspace dialog box, enter the name of the workspace, then click OK.

    Note

    You can select the Delete projects in the workspace checkbox to also delete all projects within the workspace.
