This section describes how to add an application repository in a workspace. The application repository added here is a self-built repository.

Prerequisites

  • You need to join a workspace and have the Application Repository Management permission in the workspace. For more information, see Workspace Members and Workspace Roles.

  • A Helm Chart repository has been created in advance. For information on how to create a Helm Chart repository, please refer to the Helm official documentation.

Steps

  1. Log in to the KubeSphere web console with a user who has Application Repository Management permissions and enter your workspace.

  2. Click Application Management > Application Repository in the left navigation pane.

  3. On the page, click Add.

  4. In the Add Application Repository dialog box, set the parameters for the application repository, then click OK.

    Parameter Description

    Name

    The name of the application repository.

    Alias

    The alias of the application repository.

    URL

    The URL of the Helm Chart repository. Click Verify to test the availability of the Helm Chart repository.

    Sync Interval

    The automatic synchronization interval between the application repository and the Helm Chart repository. The value ranges from 3 minutes to 24 hours. The default value 0 means no automatic synchronization.

    Description

    The description of the application repository. The description can contain any characters, with a maximum length of 256 characters.

    After the application repository is created, it will be displayed in the application repository list.
