This section describes how to delete a workspace.

Note

The system workspace system-workspace cannot be deleted.
Warning

The deleted workspace cannot be recovered. If you choose to delete the projects in the workspace simultaneously, all projects in the workspace and all resources in them will also be deleted. Perform this operation with caution.

Prerequisites

You must have the Workspace Management permission on the KubeSphere platform.

Delete a Single Workspace

  1. Log in to the KubeSphere web console as a user with Workspace Management permissions.

  2. Click Workspace Management.

  3. On the right of the workspace to operate, click more, and then select Delete from the drop-down list.

  4. In the Delete Workspace dialog box, enter the workspace name, and then click OK.

    Note

    You can select the Delete projects in the workspace check box to delete all projects in the workspace simultaneously.

Batch Delete Workspaces

  1. Log in to the KubeSphere web console as a user with Workspace Management permissions.

  2. Click Workspace Management.

  3. Select the check boxes on the left of the workspaces to be deleted, and then click Delete above the workspace list.

  4. In the Batch Delete Workspaces dialog box, enter the workspace names, and then click OK.

    Note

    Use half-width commas (,) and spaces to separate multiple names.
