This section describes how to add cluster labels.

You can use labels to categorize and manage clusters.

Prerequisites

  • You need to have Cluster Management permissions on the KubeSphere platform.

  • You need to create cluster labels in advance. For more information, refer to Create a Cluster Label.

Add Labels to a Single Cluster

  1. Log in to the KubeSphere web console as a user with Cluster Management permissions.

  2. Click Cluster Management.

  3. On the right side of the cluster you want to operate on, click more, then select Add Label from the dropdown list.

  4. In the Add Label dialog box, select the key and value for the label, click Add, then click OK.

    If no existing label meets your requirements, please create a label first. After adding the label, you can click the search box above the cluster list to search for clusters by label.

Add Labels to Multiple Clusters

  1. Log in to the KubeSphere web console as a user with Cluster Management permissions.

  2. Click Cluster Management.

  3. Select the checkboxes to the left of the clusters you want to add labels to, then click Add Labels above the list.

  4. In the Add Labels dialog box, select the key and value for the label, click Add, and then click OK.
