This section introduces how to edit cluster information.

You can edit a cluster’s alias, provider, description, and labels. KubeSphere does not support editing the name of an added cluster.

Prerequisites

You need to have theCluster Management permission on the KubeSphere platform.

Steps

  1. Log in to the KubeSphere web console as a user with Cluster Management permissions.

  2. Click Cluster Management.

  3. To the right of the cluster you want to operate, click more, and then select Edit Information from the dropdown list.

  4. In the Edit Information dialog box, set the cluster’s alias, provider, description, and labels, then click OK.

    Parameter Description

    Alias

    The alias of the cluster.

    Provider

    The provider of the cluster. Select a provider from the dropdown list.

    Description

    Description information for the cluster. The description can contain any characters, with a maximum of 256 characters.

    Labels

    Labels indicating the purpose of the cluster.
