Edit Cluster Visibility
This section describes how to edit cluster visibility.
Prerequisites
You need to join a cluster and have the Cluster Settings Management permission in the cluster. For more information, see Cluster Members and Cluster Roles.
Steps
-
Log in to the KubeSphere web console with a user who has Cluster Settings Management permissions and enter your cluster.
-
Click Cluster Settings > Cluster Visibility in the left navigation pane.
-
On the right side of the page, click Edit Visibility.
-
In the Edit Visibility dialog box, authorize or deauthorize workspaces, then click OK.
-
Click a workspace in the Unauthorized list to authorize the cluster to that workspace.
-
Click a workspace in the Authorized list to deauthorize the cluster from that workspace.
-
Toggle the Set as Public Cluster switch to authorize the cluster to all workspaces on the KubeSphere platform.
Warning -
Avoid authorizing the host cluster to workspaces whenever possible, as high load on the host cluster can lead to decreased stability of the multi-cluster system.
-
After removing a cluster’s authorization from a workspace, all resources belonging to that workspace in the current cluster will be deleted.
