This section describes how to create a workload template.

You can create a workload template directly, or create a template based on an existing workload.

Prerequisites

You need to join a cluster and have the Application Workload Management permission in the cluster. For more information, see Cluster Members and Cluster Roles.

Steps

  1. Log in to the KubeSphere web console with a user who has Application Workload Management permissions and enter your cluster.

  2. Click Application Workloads > Workload Templates in the left navigation pane.

  3. Click Create on the page.

    Select a workload type, such as Deployment, StatefulSet, or DaemonSet.

  4. The subsequent steps are the same as creating a workload. Please refer to Create a Workload.
