This section describes how to edit project information.

You can edit the alias and description of a project. KubeSphere does not support editing the name of a created project.

Prerequisites

You need to join a cluster and have the Project Management permission in the cluster. For more information, see Cluster Members and Cluster Roles.

Steps

  1. Log in to the KubeSphere web console with a user who has Project Management permissions and enter your cluster.

  2. Click Project in the left navigation pane.

  3. On the right side of the project you want to operate on, click more, then select Edit from the dropdown list.

  4. In the Edit Information dialog box, set the alias and description for the project, then click OK.

    Parameter Description

    Alias

    The alias of the project. Aliases can be the same for different projects.

    Description

    The description of the project. The description can contain any characters, up to 256 characters.
