This section describes how to view the overview information of a cluster.

Prerequisites

You need to join a cluster and have the Cluster Settings View permission in the cluster. For more information, see Cluster Members and Cluster Roles.

Steps

  1. Log in to the KubeSphere web console with a user who has Cluster Settings View permissions and enter your cluster.

  2. Click Overview in the left navigation pane.

    Functional Area Description

    Name, Identifier, and Description

    The right side displays the name, identifier, and description of the current cluster.

    • The name of a member cluster is set by the user when adding the member cluster.

    • The identifier of the current cluster is displayed to the right of the cluster name.

    Basic Information

    Displays the provider, Kubernetes version, KubeSphere version, and workspace visibility of the current cluster. You can click to view cluster visibility.

    Number of Created Resources

    Displays the number of resources in the current cluster, such as projects, pods, Deployments, StatefulSets, DaemonSets, Jobs, CronJobs, Persistent Volumes, Services, Ingresses, members, roles, etc.

    Tools

    Displays the kubectl command-line tool and the kubeconfig configuration file.
