This section describes how to log in to the KubeSphere web console and access a cluster.

Prerequisites

  • You need to obtain the username and password of a cluster member.

  • You need to contact the KubeSphere platform administrator to obtain the IP address and port number of the web console.

  • Depending on your network environment, you may need to configure firewall policies and traffic forwarding policies. For specific operations, please contact your network environment administrator.

Steps

  1. Open a web browser and enter the IP address and port number of the KubeSphere web console in the address bar.

  2. On the KubeSphere login page, enter your user credentials and then click Log In.

    Note

    Upon initial login, the system will prompt you to change the user password.

  3. Click Cluster Management or the Cluster icon on the top navigation bar.

  4. On the Cluster Management page, click the name of a cluster to access it.
