This section describes how to delete platform roles.

You can delete platform roles created by users. Pre-configured platform roles cannot be deleted.

Prerequisites

  • You need to have the Role Management permission on the KubeSphere platform. For more information, refer to Users and Platform Roles.

  • If the platform role you want to delete has already been assigned to users, you need to delete the users or modify their roles.

Steps

  1. Log in to the KubeSphere web console as a user with Role Management permissions.

  2. Click Users and Roles Management.

  3. In the left navigation pane, select Platform Roles.

  4. On the right side of the platform role you want to delete, click more, and then select Delete from the dropdown list.

  5. In the Delete Role dialog box, click OK.
