View and Customize Platform Information

This section describes how to view and customize the information of the KubeSphere web console.

Prerequisites

You need to have the Platform Settings Management permission on the KubeSphere platform. For more information, see Users and Platform Roles.

Steps

Log in to the KubeSphere web console as a user with Platform Settings Management permissions.
In the upper-right corner of the page, click Component Dock > Platform Settings.
Click Platform Information in the left navigation pane.

The Platform Information page displays the platform’s access address, title, description, logo, browser favicon, and login page background image.
In the upper-right corner of the page, click Customize Platform Information.

In the Customize Platform Information dialog box, configure the platform information and then click OK.

After customization, you can reset the platform information to restore it to the default state.

Parameter	Description
Platform Title	The name of the platform. The platform title can contain any characters and is up to 63 characters long.
Platform Description	The description can contain any characters and is up to 256 characters long.
Platform Logo	The logo displayed at the top of the web console interface. The image format can be SVG, PNG, or JPG, the file size must not exceed 2 MB, and the recommended image resolution is 200 x 40 pixels.
Browser Favicon	The icon on the browser tab. The image format can be ICO, SVG, PNG, or JPG, the file size must not exceed 2 MB, the recommended image resolution is 40 x 40 pixels, and a 1:1 aspect ratio is recommended.
Login Page Background Image	The background image of the platform login page. The image format can be SVG, PNG, or JPG, the file size must not exceed 2 MB, and the recommended image resolution is 1920 x 1080 pixels.
